Web based Chicken CCTV system.

After investing a considerable amount of time and money breeding 15 pure bred chickens I decided to establish a single camera CCTV system to enable me to keep an eye on them from the comfort of my home.
The system also enables me to see when they are ready to be locked up safely at night, saving me the trouble of waiting in the cold of winter to put them to bed.
I had a very old black and white camera with very poor picture quality and an equally old black and white monitor. These I established with a certain amount of success, however, before long the camera started to miss function and the old black and white monitor became a real eye sore in the study.
I contacted several CCTV companies within the Hampshire and Surrey area to establish if I could purchase a  affordable upgrade for the ailing system, although most were extremely helpful, none filled the bill regarding my requirements.
I then contacted Urban Security Systems Ltd in Brighton and with the assistance of Andy Lloyd, Operations Manager, he was able to provide me the complete solution at an affordable price.
We decided to upgrade the camera with a more modern National Panasonic Camera and utilise my lap top computer via a web server to provide the required picture, this enabled me to lose the unsightly black and white monitor.
This is where Urban Security System Ltd and Andy really stepped up to the mark in helping me set up the system, needless to say my computer skills are woeful in these situations but with the help of Andy and team viewer software he was able to remotely take control of my computer and thread his way through the many set up procedures necessary. Andy even had to download my router details from the internet as I was unable to provide him with the information he needed to complete the final set up.
Andy spent several hours of his valuable time in setting up my system over and above the excellent sales assistance he provided in purchasing the hardware and I am extremely grateful to him for his expertise and patience in providing an excellent solution to my exact requirements.
To put the icing on the cake I now also have the ability to view my chickens via the World Wide Web which is appropriate for my son who is now based in Rome.
